Did they encourage you to wear the gloves that keep your hands from slipping. Those gloves really helped me, even just on the straight line quilting that I just did.
Thanks for the tip. I'll start small for now! I bought and used some nice clean gloves from the first try...I do not know that it is hard without them :o

Good for you. You look like you are doing just fine. I took a class a few years back and really should take another. It just takes practice.
I am so impressed!! It's beautiful. Now you need to give us all a lesson.
Your samples look great! I second the need for gloves. I've tried a few different kinds and I think I like Fons and Porter best.
Remember, when you're actually quilting freehand like that, the fabric will be busy with color and little bobbles wont show.
