She's beautiful!
I have a new baby! a Brother PQ1500S. She has been long awaited!...years. Can't wait to send time with her. I am SOOO excited!
Took a machine quilting class yesterday at Quilters' Corner. Had a good low-key pleasant teacher and 5 eager classmates. Did not have the new machine at that time and make it with daughter's little Singer basic from Christmas 2005 (when she was 11 years old)! I think I can do this machine quilting thing...my samples were pitiful but practice will be the key. The only kind of machine quilting I have ever wanted to do was quilting that will look like hand quilting motifs. Free-handed feathers is my main goal, then other free hand designs to compliment the Paintbrush and other nature designs that I may do. With the art quilt direction I am enjoying, hand quilting is completely out of the question due to the composition of the pieces, I would need hands of steel! So, I'm in, we'll see how it goes!

Outlaws Christmas Party Sampler
Here is a sampling of the Outlaws Christmas Party.
T-towels made by Mary, snacks including various chocolate covered nuts and candies, tortilla roll-ups (yummy!), the infamous veggie salsa (very mild version) with various other sweet snacks.....And the lovely stained glass Log Cabin Garden tile made by Terri of which I am the very happy recipient (although I had to do a "steal" to get it in the dirty Santa game.)
Next post will be quilting again...because I am writing again and will use my 10 minute breaks to get lots of quilting accomplished!
