Block #25 Finished

Chester County Criswell Quilt - Block #25

Intially when I finished this block at the end of last month I thought that the leaves were not smooth enough around the edges. However, looking at it now, it looks just fine. It probably helps that is it not 10 inches from my nose. I look forward to beginning on the next block soon!
Happy Quilting!

I think your being too hard on yourself! I struggle with those round shapes too! Your block looks wonderful!

Nice finish Wanda, the fabric suits it.
I did a workshop with Di Ford on needleturn. She suggests that if you have a little point in your smooth curve, insert your needle into the point and move it side to side like a car windscreen wiper. That helps to smooth out the bulk under the point.
...but your work looks great!

When I look at my applique up close, I am not always happy but from a bit of distance, the pieces look just fine. Yours looks very good.
