A Vintage Star

I think I am going to like this!* What a surprise to me that I did this...it took a bit of  tweaking to make this old stretched out block - made with who knows what type of fabric - cooperate with inserted corners. I did not realize until taking the photo that I should have sewed the triangles first then corner squares for straight seams. Oh well, now I must decide to make the other 11 blocks like this or piece in the other way. HA!

*Of course starting something new always is more appealing to me than the old.
